Awww...

I got a late Christmas card, postmarked Italy.

I tore open the envelope, something fell out all folded up.

When I unwrapped it... this was inside.

It's a beautiful long woodblock print (photos don't do it justice) on handmade paper, from the lovely director of the print studio where I went in the summer.

It brought a tear to my eye!

Just thought I'd share that with you.

  1. "..and he'll toot his flute for you.." the mouse made me think of Frank Sinatra.
Lovely thing to receive in the mail.

  2. Thank you for sharing that; it is lovely. So few lovely things come by post these days, I think a postal revival might be in order.

  3. I love that tune Arabella. Not planning on getting married but I think it would be a great first dance song at a wedding.

It was lovely Em! Agreed on the post. My mum used to send me regular postcards at uni, (as well as the occasional packet of salt and vinegar crisps), it was great. Let's bring it back.
